Salam and Nutanix Expand Private Cloud Options for Saudi Enterprises

Salam and Nutanix

Salam and Nutanix have entered a three-year managed services partnership to deliver Private Cloud Infrastructure as a Service to enterprise customers across Saudi Arabia, combining local telecommunications capabilities with Nutanix’s hybrid multicloud technology.

The partnership will enable Salam to offer private cloud infrastructure designed for businesses seeking greater flexibility, scalability and control while modernising their IT environments. The offering is positioned to support enterprise digital transformation without moving away from private infrastructure.

“Our collaboration combines Salam’s expertise with Nutanix’s world-class cloud technology. We are uniquely positioned to deliver private cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability.” — Abdullah Khorami, Chief Business Officer, Etihad Salam Telecom Company

Salam will bring its understanding of the Saudi market and telecommunications network, while Nutanix will provide the underlying cloud technology platform. Together, the companies aim to give B2B customers access to managed private cloud capabilities tailored to their infrastructure requirements.

Abdullah Khorami, Chief Business Officer at Salam, said the collaboration brings together the strengths of both companies to deliver private cloud solutions focused on performance, security and scalability.

Talal Al-Saif, Regional Director, Saudi Arabia, Nutanix, said the partnership reflects a shared objective of providing enterprises with flexible and modern IT infrastructure while supporting the Kingdom’s digital agenda.

“We are thrilled to partner with Salam to bring our proven private cloud infrastructure capabilities to businesses throughout Saudi Arabia. Together with Salam, we look forward to supporting the Kingdom’s ambitious digital agenda and helping enterprises unlock new possibilities through cloud technology.” — Talal Al-Saif, Regional Director, Saudi Arabia, Nutanix

The agreement comes as Saudi enterprises increasingly seek cloud models that balance modernisation with security and control. For Salam, the partnership expands its portfolio of enterprise digital infrastructure services, while Nutanix gains a local channel to extend its private cloud capabilities across the Saudi business market.

The three-year managed service model also points to a broader shift in enterprise cloud adoption, where organisations are looking beyond infrastructure ownership toward managed platforms that can support evolving workloads and digital transformation requirements.
