New PCIe 5.0 enterprise SSD delivers up to 14GB/s speeds and 2.8M IOPS for AI, HPC, and cloud workloads

Kingston Digital Europe Co LLP has launched the DC3000ME Gen5 U.2 NVMe SSD, now available in a high-capacity 30.72TB configuration, expanding its data center portfolio to meet the rising demands of AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and cloud environments.

Built on a high-speed PCIe 5.0 NVMe interface, the DC3000ME delivers sequential read speeds of up to 14GB/s and random read performance of up to 2.8 million IOPS, enabling faster data access for compute-intensive workloads. The SSD maintains backward compatibility with PCIe 4.0, allowing seamless deployment across existing and next-generation server infrastructures.

“As AI and data-intensive workloads scale, enterprises need storage that delivers both extreme performance and uncompromising reliability at high density.”

– Tony Hollingsbee, SSD Business Manager, Kingston EMEA

Designed for enterprise-grade reliability, the DC3000ME leverages 3D eTLC NAND and integrates power loss protection (PLP) to safeguard data during unexpected outages. It also supports AES 256-bit encryption and TCG Opal 2.0 self-encrypting drive capabilities, helping organizations meet stringent security and compliance requirements.

The new 30.72TB capacity option addresses growing demand for higher storage density without sacrificing performance, enabling organizations to scale infrastructure efficiently while optimizing total cost of ownership.

All DC3000ME variants are backed by Kingston’s technical support and a five-year limited warranty, ensuring long-term reliability for enterprise and data center deployments.
