Cohesity and ZainTECH Join Forces to Strengthen Cyber Resilience Across the Middle East

Cohesity

Partnership combines AI-powered data security with sovereign-ready managed services to help enterprises enhance protection and recovery capabilities

Cohesity, a leader in AI-powered data security, has entered into a managed services partnership with ZainTECH, the digital solutions arm of Zain Group, to deliver advanced cyber resilience services to enterprises across the Middle East.

The agreement, signed under the Cohesity Aspire Partner Programme, will enable ZainTECH to provide a fully managed Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS) offering powered by the Cohesity Data Cloud platform. The service will be available to organizations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, offering enhanced protection against cyber threats while supporting data sovereignty requirements.

Through the partnership, ZainTECH will expand its managed security portfolio beyond conventional backup services. The offering includes immutable backup, ransomware protection, AI-driven anomaly detection, cyber vaulting, encryption, advanced reporting, and recovery orchestration capabilities.

“The question is no longer whether disruption will happen but how fast you can recover from it.”

Gregg Petersen, Regional Director, Middle East, Cohesity

The solution is designed to protect workloads across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including on-premises infrastructure, public cloud services, Microsoft 365, SaaS applications, databases, virtual machines, containers, and file storage environments.

According to Cohesity, rising cyber threats and increasing regulatory scrutiny around data residency are driving demand for resilient and locally managed data protection solutions. The partnership leverages ZainTECH’s regional infrastructure and managed services expertise together with Cohesity’s AI-powered cyber resilience platform to address these concerns.

“Our customers are asking harder questions about where their data lives and what happens to it when things go wrong.”

Andrew Hanna, CEO, ZainTECH

ZainTECH’s Backup-as-a-Service platform also incorporates Cohesity FortKnox, enabling secure, air-gapped cyber vaulting within an organization’s own environment and jurisdiction, an increasingly important requirement for enterprises operating in regulated sectors.

The collaboration aims to help organizations improve business continuity, accelerate recovery from cyber incidents, and maintain greater control over where critical data is stored and protected. By combining advanced cybersecurity capabilities with sovereign-ready managed services, Cohesity and ZainTECH seek to support enterprises as they navigate an evolving threat landscape while advancing their digital transformation initiatives across the region.
