Vertiv Appoints IoT Misr as Diamond Partner in Egypt

Vertiv

Partnership expands access to critical power, cooling and integrated data centre infrastructure as Egypt’s market accelerates.

Vertiv has appointed IoT Misr as a Diamond Partner in Egypt, strengthening its local partner ecosystem as demand for data centre infrastructure grows alongside cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation.

Research from Arizton cited by Vertiv projects Egypt’s data centre market to grow from $305 million in 2025 to $865 million by 2031, representing a compound annual growth rate of 18.97%.

The partnership will expand customer access to Vertiv’s critical power, thermal management and integrated infrastructure portfolio. IoT Misr will also receive enhanced training, technical resources and closer collaboration with Vertiv teams to support infrastructure deployment and lifecycle management.

“The expanded relationship will strengthen our capabilities to support the availability and improved efficiency of data centres, telecommunications networks and mission-critical applications.” — Ehab El Hefnawy, Regional Director for Northeast Africa, Vertiv

The solutions available through the partnership include uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, power distribution, cooling technologies, modular data centres, racks, containment and monitoring platforms. Customers will also have access to commissioning, preventive maintenance, technical support and lifecycle services.

Amr Nour, CEO of IoT Misr, said the Diamond Partner appointment would strengthen the company’s ability to serve existing customers and pursue new opportunities across Egypt’s expanding data centre market.

The collaboration comes as organisations face increasing demands for reliable, energy-efficient infrastructure to support AI, cloud, edge computing, 5G and high-performance computing workloads. As these applications grow, power availability, cooling efficiency and operational resilience are becoming critical infrastructure priorities.

By combining Vertiv’s infrastructure portfolio with IoT Misr’s system integration expertise, the companies aim to help Egyptian organisations improve resource utilisation, strengthen business continuity and support evolving digital requirements.
