AmiViz Aligns with Acalvio to Bring Preemptive Defence, Deception Technology and Agentic AI Security to the Middle East

AmiViz

AmiViz has announced a strategic distribution partnership with Acalvio Technologies to deliver advanced deception-led security solutions across the Middle East.

The collaboration comes as cyber threats grow more automated, sophisticated, and increasingly driven by AI. Traditional security models that rely on reactive detection and known attack signatures are proving inadequate against modern intrusions, prompting organisations to adopt pre-emptive approaches that can identify malicious intent at the earliest stage.

Acalvio’s platform leverages deception technology including distributed decoys, lures, and high-fidelity telemetry to detect lateral movement, identity misuse, and stealth attacks with high accuracy and minimal false positives. This enables enterprises to expose attackers early in the kill chain, before significant damage occurs.

“Pre-emptive defense has become essential as attackers move faster and AI reshapes the threat landscape,” said Ilyas Mohammed, Chief Operating Officer at AmiViz.

The approach is particularly relevant in the era of Agentic AI, where autonomous systems introduce new behavioral patterns and expand the attack surface. Deception-based security helps uncover anomalous or unintended actions, whether initiated by human attackers or AI-driven processes, making it a critical layer in next-generation cyber defence strategies.

Ilyas Mohammed said the partnership reflects a shared focus on proactive security. “Acalvio’s deception-driven approach gives organisations the ability to detect malicious activity at its earliest stage, long before it becomes a breach,” he noted.

Through this alliance, AmiViz will support regional enterprises with enablement, training, and deployment expertise, targeting key sectors such as government, finance, telecom, energy, and large enterprises.

Ray Kafity, Vice President for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Acalvio Technologies, highlighted the company’s industry recognition, noting its leadership position in deception technology and preemptive cybersecurity. He added that the partnership aims to bring advanced deception capabilities to address the growing wave of AI-driven cyberattacks.

The partnership reinforces a broader industry shift toward proactive, intelligence-led cybersecurity, where deception technologies play a central role in identifying and disrupting threats before they escalate into full-scale breaches.
