Acronis Launches Cyber Frame to Help Service Providers Build Secure and Profitable IaaS Platforms

Acronis

Acronis has introduced Acronis Cyber Frame, a new AI-powered hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) platform designed specifically for managed service providers (MSPs), cloud service providers (CSPs), hosting companies, and telecom operators.

The launch comes at a time when enterprises and service providers are reassessing their infrastructure strategies amid rising hyperscaler costs, growing demand for sovereign cloud environments, and increasing disruption in legacy virtualization markets.

Acronis Cyber Frame combines virtual machines, networking, storage, cyber protection, remote monitoring and management (RMM), backup, and disaster recovery into a single integrated platform aimed at simplifying infrastructure deployment while improving operational efficiency and profitability.

“Acronis Cyber Frame brings infrastructure, protection, and management together in a single, natively integrated platform, helping partners simplify complexity and achieve stronger margins from their infrastructure services,” said Gaidar Magdanurov, President at Acronis.

Gaidar Magdanurov, President at Acronis, said the platform was built to give partners greater flexibility and control over their infrastructure business models.

“Service providers are rethinking their infrastructure strategies in response to major market shifts and need infrastructure that fits their business. Cyber Frame enables partners to deliver and monetize secure infrastructure services with more predictable pricing, operational simplicity, and stronger margins,” he said.

The platform is available in two deployment models — Acronis Cyber Frame Cloud, a fully hosted option for rapid deployment without upfront infrastructure investment, and Acronis Cyber Frame Local, which allows partners to host and manage infrastructure within their own environments to meet performance, compliance, and data sovereignty requirements.

Unlike traditional infrastructure platforms that require multiple third-party tools for protection and management, Cyber Frame includes built-in security, backup, disaster recovery, and RMM capabilities by default.

Scott Harrison, Cybersecurity Solution Specialist at Grey Matter, said the integrated approach reduces operational complexity for enterprises and service providers alike.

“Instead of stitching together multiple tools, organizations can operate from one natively integrated platform designed for security, efficiency, and scalability from day one,” Harrison said.

Built on OpenStack and KVM technologies in collaboration with Virtuozzo, Acronis Cyber Frame is designed to avoid proprietary hypervisor lock-in while supporting scalable and cost-effective infrastructure services.

The platform is now generally available globally.
