Acronis has announced the launch of Acronis Cyber Frame, a new hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) platform designed specifically for managed service providers (MSPs), cloud service providers (CSPs), hosting providers, and telecom operators.
The AI-powered platform combines virtual machines, networking, storage, cyber protection, and automation into a single integrated offering, enabling service providers to build and monetize infrastructure services while improving operational efficiency and profitability.
Acronis Cyber Frame arrives at a time when organizations are reevaluating their infrastructure strategies due to rising hyperscaler costs, disruptions in legacy virtualization environments, and increasing demand for sovereign and regional cloud solutions. The company said the platform is designed to help partners regain greater control over infrastructure management, compliance, and pricing.
“Service providers are rethinking their infrastructure strategies in response to major market shifts and need infrastructure that fits their business,” said Gaidar Magdanurov, President at Acronis.
Unlike traditional infrastructure solutions that rely on multiple third-party tools, Cyber Frame integrates backup and disaster recovery, threat protection, and remote monitoring and management (RMM) capabilities directly into the platform. This “protected by default” approach reduces operational complexity while helping partners deploy secure infrastructure services from day one.
The platform is available in two deployment models. Acronis Cyber Frame Cloud provides a fully hosted option for rapid deployment without upfront infrastructure investments, while Acronis Cyber Frame Local allows partners to host the infrastructure themselves, giving them greater control over performance, economics, and data sovereignty.
Acronis also emphasized the platform’s native multitenancy, white-label capabilities, and integration with Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, which are aimed at streamlining workflows for service providers and improving customer experience.
Scott Harrison, Cybersecurity Solution Specialist at Grey Matter, said the platform offers a simplified approach to cyber resilience by combining infrastructure, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and management tools into one AI-powered environment.
Built on OpenStack and KVM technologies in collaboration with Virtuozzo, Acronis Cyber Frame avoids proprietary hypervisor lock-in while providing scalable infrastructure for enterprise and cloud workloads.
Acronis confirmed that Cyber Frame is now generally available globally.
