Canon Middle East Strengthens Industry Expertise with Graduation of First Certified Printing Consultant Cohort

“The printing industry today is no longer about products alone – it is about insight, confidence, and long-term value creation.” — Shadi Bakhour, B2B Business Unit Director, Canon Middle East

Year-long CCPC program develops next‑generation printing consultants equipped to lead customers through complex, value-driven print transformations

Canon Middle East has successfully concluded the first official graduation ceremony of its Canon Certified Printing Consultant (CCPC) program, marking a major milestone in the evolution of consultative expertise within the region’s professional printing sector. Held in Dubai, the three‑day event celebrated the completion of a rigorous, year‑long certification designed to equip print professionals with the deep technical, business and workflow knowledge required to navigate today’s increasingly complex commercial print environment.

Launched in 2024, the CCPC program is Canon’s strategic response to a shifting industry landscape, where customers now seek trusted advisors who can convert print technology investments into measurable business value. The curriculum blends advanced theoretical modules with hands‑on practical training, including commercial print case development, workflow automation exercises, and application‑driven digital printing projects.

Shadi Bakhour, B2B Business Unit Director at Canon Middle East, emphasized the consultative shift shaping the industry. “The printing industry today is no longer about products alone – it is about insight, confidence, and long‑term value creation,” he said. “This first graduating cohort demonstrates exactly why this approach is critical for the future of print.”

Participants were evaluated by a panel of Canon executives and external industry experts after presenting real‑world print cases and innovative application concepts that addressed sustainability, technology selection, workflow optimization and business impact modelling. An application gallery at the ceremony showcased the creativity, technical depth and commercial thinking behind each project.

The inaugural graduating class includes Ahmed Assal, Ahmed Hasouba, Ajish Paul, Muhammed Shabaan, Emre Polat, Nowfel Kurukkalparambil, and Omkar Viswas Rao — each certified after meeting rigorous criteria across print quality, economic viability, competitive differentiation and presentation excellence.

Ayman Aly, B2B Marketing Director, said the CCPC program is built for long‑term industry impact. “This is not a short‑term initiative. It is a one‑year transformation that prepares consultants for an industry moving toward personalization, automation and sustainability.”

Canon Middle East also confirmed that a new CCPC intake will open in 2026, reinforcing its commitment to developing advanced print consultancy skills across the region.
