Refreshed Service Provider track delivers clearer requirements, flexible enablement paths and enhanced tools to support partner growth in a fast‑evolving cybersecurity market

Infoblox has announced major updates to its Skilled to Secure Partner Program, introducing a revamped Service Provider track designed specifically for Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) and Global System Integrators (GSIs). Revealed on 19 January 2026, the enhancements are built to help partners scale more efficiently, improve service delivery and meet accelerating customer security demands.

The new track features two invite‑only subtracks tailored for MSSPs and GSIs, ensuring partners can align their business models with Infoblox’s expanding services portfolio. The biggest shift is the program’s renewed emphasis on flexible, role‑based enablement, replacing rigid certification paths with requirements that reflect real‑world go‑to‑market motions.

“These updates reflect direct partner feedback and deliver more flexible, market‑aligned paths to success within our Skilled to Secure ecosystem.”

— Chris Millerick, VP of Partners & Alliances, Infoblox

Under the updated structure, partners gain access to enhanced tools including non‑for‑resale (NFR) demo environments, operational runbooks for service delivery, and expanded benefits that streamline implementation and accelerate time‑to‑value. For MSSPs in particular, Infoblox has added deeper technical resources, recurring‑service enablement, and go‑to‑market support to strengthen managed security offerings.

Chris Millerick, VP of Partners and Alliances at Infoblox, said the enhancements were driven directly by partner feedback. “As the cybersecurity landscape continues to evolve, so too must the way we support our partners. These updates reflect direct partner input and deliver more flexible, market‑aligned paths to success within our Skilled to Secure ecosystem.”

The Skilled to Secure Partner Program remains rooted in competency‑based progression, rewarding partners for investments in sales, pre‑sales and professional services training. Partners that demonstrate advanced capability earn access to higher status tiers such as Sapphire and Diamond, unlocking additional benefits.

Infoblox says the refreshed Service Provider track is designed to help partners address a more complex threat landscape where customers increasingly expect integrated, scalable and proactive security services. By aligning certification pathways and technical resources with partner operating models, the company aims to support MSSPs and GSIs in delivering differentiated security outcomes.
