Distribution partnership aims to accelerate cloud marketplace growth for partners across Europe and the Middle East
Westcon-Comstor has expanded its long-standing relationship with intelligent WiFi solutions vendor Weblib, signing a new AWS Marketplace agreement that positions the distributor as the first and only partner able to privately list Weblib software products on the platform.
Announced on 15 January 2026, the deal enables Westcon-Comstor to offer Weblib’s cloud-based Smart Wifi solution to partners across key markets in Europe and the Middle East via private listings in AWS Marketplace. The move creates a seamless route for partners to procure and deliver Weblib’s guest WiFi technology directly to their customers through the AWS ecosystem.

“This agreement strengthens our ability to help partners capture AWS Marketplace momentum and deliver innovative guest WiFi solutions at scale.”
— Daniel Hurel, Senior Vice President, Westcon EMEA Go-To-Market
The announcement builds on a relationship that began in France and expanded to the wider EMEA region last year. It also strengthens Westcon-Comstor’s AWS Marketplace programme, launched in 2024 to make it easier for channel partners to adopt marketplace-led procurement models, backed by the distributor’s advisory and consulting support under the AWS Designated Seller of Record (DSOR) framework.
The collaboration lands at a pivotal time for cloud commerce. According to Omdia, channel partners are forecast to drive 59% of the projected $163 billion hyperscaler marketplace spend by 2030 — a trend that underscores the value of distributors enabling simplified cloud transactions.
Recent enhancements to Westcon-Comstor’s marketplace offering, including multi-currency capabilities and support for multi-product solution listings, give partners added flexibility to bundle software and services for sector-specific use cases.
“Integrating Smart Wifi into AWS Marketplace through Westcon-Comstor marks a major milestone in our international expansion, making secure and personalised guest experiences easier to deploy than ever.”
— Sébastien Bloch, Vice President of Sales, Weblib

Paris-based Weblib brings a strong portfolio of privacy-compliant, intelligence-driven WiFi solutions used in retail, hospitality, healthcare and education. Its Smart Wifi platform empowers organisations with behavioural insights while delivering personalised, secure guest connectivity.
Sébastien Bloch said the AWS integration opens new global opportunities for partners. By combining Weblib’s technology with AWS cloud scale and Westcon-Comstor’s marketplace expertise, partners can “rapidly deploy powerful, customer-centric WiFi experiences that boost engagement and improve operational performance.”
The strengthened agreement underscores both companies’ commitment to driving partner growth as cloud marketplaces become an increasingly central procurement channel.
