Mindware

Distributor brings regional focus, partner-first strategy, and cutting-edge solutions to accelerate digital transformation across East Africa

Mindware, a leading value-added distributor in the Middle East and Africa, has officially launched its operations in East Africa with a vibrant event in Nairobi that brought together over 200 channel partners, tech leaders, and vendors. The new Nairobi office will act as a strategic base to serve Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Ethiopia, marking a significant milestone in the company’s regional growth plan.

“This launch is not just about opening doors — it’s about opening possibilities,” said Spiros Rafailovits, Territory Manager for East Africa at Mindware. “We are here to co-create the future of technology in East Africa by investing in people, forging trusted partnerships, and delivering cutting-edge solutions that accelerate growth across the region.”

Since announcing its expansion into East Africa earlier this year, Mindware has rapidly scaled operations, doubling its local workforce and hosting enablement sessions tailored to regional needs. The distributor has already partnered with local ICT providers and is gearing up to announce a series of new vendor alliances focused on cloud, cybersecurity, networking, and enterprise solutions.

The Nairobi launch featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, and networking sessions that showcased Mindware’s expanded portfolio and long-term vision for the region. Reflecting its partner-first ethos, Mindware has also introduced localized technical and sales enablement programs, along with certification training in collaboration with vendors.

Channel partners welcomed the move, citing faster access to solutions and a more collaborative business model. “Mindware’s setup in Kenya has brought a new level of professionalism and opportunity to the local IT channel,” said Cornelious Anjichi, CFO at Down to Earth Technologies. “Their commitment to partner success is evident in every interaction.”

With momentum building across East Africa, Mindware is positioning itself as a key enabler of digital transformation in one of the continent’s fastest-growing ICT regions.
