Partnership gives channel partners access to 1Password’s Extended Access Management platform with faster sales cycles and new revenue opportunities
Westcon-Comstor has announced a strategic EMEA-wide distribution agreement with 1Password, the pioneer of Extended Access Management (XAM). The partnership is set to expand the distributor’s identity security portfolio, create new revenue opportunities for partners, and accelerate enterprise adoption of modern access security solutions.
The agreement allows Westcon-Comstor to deliver its value-added services—including training, technical enablement, and data insights—to empower partners in scaling end-user deployments of 1Password’s Extended Access Management platform. This aligns with 1Password’s growing focus on channel-led expansion, particularly in the EMEA region.
1Password, trusted by more than 165,000 businesses and millions of consumers worldwide, addresses the “Access-Trust Gap”—the security risk posed by unfederated identities, unmanaged devices, and AI agents accessing enterprise systems without proper governance. Its Extended Access Management solution secures every sign-in, to every app, from every device—filling gaps left by traditional IAM, IGA, and MDM tools.
For partners, the collaboration represents an opportunity to capitalise on 1Password’s short sales cycles and quick route to revenue. The solution meets surging enterprise demand for simplified, scalable, and secure identity management in increasingly complex and AI-driven environments.
“This strategic agreement with 1Password complements and enhances our identity security offering perfectly, exemplifying our commitment to providing partners and their customers with best-of-breed security solutions.” – Daniel Hurel, SVP, Westcon EMEA Go-To-Market
As part of the partnership, 1Password will leverage Westcon-Comstor’s Intelligent Demand platform—a proprietary insights-driven lead generation programme that uses predictive analytics to drive customer lifetime value and unlock new market opportunities.
“With technology alliances across vendors like CrowdStrike and AWS, adding 1Password to our portfolio strengthens our identity security strategy and provides partners with meaningful upsell and cross-sell opportunities,” said Daniel Hurel, Senior Vice President, Westcon EMEA Go-To-Market.
Oliver Cheal, Vice President, EMEA at 1Password, added: “Our agreement with Westcon is a pivotal milestone that expands the reach of Extended Access Management across EMEA. By combining Westcon’s channel expertise with our platform, we’re accelerating partner success and addressing urgent identity and AI security needs.”
The partnership comes amid rapid growth for 1Password, which recently launched a global partner programme, enhanced its EMEA presence, and introduced next-generation access security features to its platform.
