Partnership enables faster deal cycles and unlocks cloud spend through AI-driven SASE offerings on AWS Marketplace

Westcon-Comstor has announced that Cato Networks has joined its AWS Marketplace programme, strengthening its ecosystem and opening new growth avenues for channel partners across EMEA. The move enables partners to leverage cloud marketplace efficiencies to accelerate deal closures and simplify procurement.

Launched in 2024, the programme is designed to help partners capitalise on the speed and flexibility of Amazon Web Services Marketplace. It supports multi-currency transactions and multi-product solutions, allowing partners to bundle offerings tailored to industry-specific requirements and customer use cases.

“Enabling Cato procurement through AWS Marketplace helps partners shorten sales cycles and align with committed cloud spend while scaling adoption of a channel-friendly SASE platform.”

— Daniel Hurel, SVP, Westcon EMEA Go-To-Market, Westcon-Comstor

Since its inception, the programme has facilitated over 100 deals worth tens of millions of dollars, underscoring growing partner adoption and marketplace momentum. Built on the AWS Designated Seller of Record (DSOR) model, it also provides dedicated advisory and enablement support to help partners scale their cloud marketplace business.

With Cato Networks now onboard, partners can procure its AI-native SASE platform through private listings and seamlessly deliver solutions to customers within AWS Marketplace. This approach allows customers to utilise pre-committed AWS budgets, enabling partners to drive land-and-expand strategies while accelerating digital transformation initiatives.

The partnership builds on an existing distribution agreement between the two companies and aligns with broader industry trends. With hyperscaler marketplaces projected to drive a significant portion of IT channel revenue in the coming years, Westcon-Comstor aims to position its partners at the centre of this growth.

Karl Soderlund, Global Channel Chief at Cato Networks, added that the collaboration simplifies procurement while enabling partners to deliver scalable, AI-driven security and networking capabilities through a unified marketplace model.
