In his new role, D’Souza will lead both Westcon and Comstor operations across the Gulf, with responsibility for strategy, commercial execution, and operational performance. His mandate includes expanding market share, deepening relationships with partners and vendors, and aligning regional priorities with evolving demand across cybersecurity, networking, and cloud technologies.

The appointment follows continued investment by Westcon-Comstor in the Gulf, including the expansion to larger premises in Dubai in 2024 to support long-term growth plans. The company recently reported strong financial performance, with gross sales increasing 9.8% year-on-year to US$2.78 billion in the first half of FY26. The MEA region delivered solid year-on-year growth, making a meaningful contribution to the company’s global results.

Commenting on the appointment, Rakesh Parbhoo, Executive Vice President, Middle East and Africa at Westcon-Comstor, said D’Souza’s leadership has been instrumental to the company’s regional success. “Renton has consistently demonstrated strategic vision and operational excellence, particularly in strengthening vendor and partner engagement and supporting expansion into new markets. With Gulf economies investing heavily in digital infrastructure, he is ideally positioned to lead our next phase of growth.”

With D’Souza at the helm, Westcon-Comstor aims to further empower partners and vendors across the Gulf as enterprises accelerate technology adoption and modernisation initiatives.
