Westcon-Comstor has announced a new collaboration between its Cisco-focused Comstor business and Rackmount.IT, a specialist provider of high-quality rackmount kits for desktop security and network appliances. The agreement enables Cisco partners across EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) to modernise infrastructure, improve resilience, and futureproof workplaces through advanced rackmount technology.
Rackmount.IT’s products are designed to convert desktop security appliances into rack-mounted solutions that enhance organisation, protection, and reliability. Widely used across industrial and commercial settings, these solutions optimise airflow, improve cable management, and safeguard critical network equipment—extending device lifespan and minimising downtime.

Under the agreement, Comstor will distribute Rackmount.IT’s Cisco and Cisco Meraki racking solutions across EMEA. The move enables partners to deliver greater cybersecurity resilience, simplify infrastructure management, and reduce time-to-resolution through advanced patch management.
