New Service Provider Central and validation programs aim to help partners scale, differentiate, and transition from legacy platforms

Nutanix has announced a series of platform enhancements and partner-focused initiatives under its Elevate Service Provider Program, aimed at enabling service providers to scale efficiently and deliver differentiated cloud services in an increasingly competitive market.

At the core of the announcement is Service Provider Central (SP Central), a new multitenant cloud capability built on the Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP). Expected to be available in the second half of 2026, the offering is designed to deliver enterprise-grade Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) with built-in multitenancy. It allows service providers to manage multiple tenants through a single control plane while maintaining governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Each tenant will operate within its own private cloud environment, with access to familiar tools like Nutanix Prism for managing compute, storage, networking, and identity. Meanwhile, providers retain centralized oversight, enabling a balance between customer autonomy and operational control.

The company is also introducing a new “Powered by Nutanix: Verified Solutions” program, enabling partners to earn official validation for services aligned with Nutanix best practices. Initially focused on private cloud offerings such as IaaS, Sovereign IaaS, and Disaster Recovery as a Service, the program aims to help customers identify trusted service providers more easily.

Service providers are at the heart of helping customers modernize and adopt cloud operating models on their terms,” said Tarkan Maner, President and Chief Commercial Officer at Nutanix.

In a strategic move to capture market transitions, Nutanix is also offering incentives for service providers migrating from VMware. The program includes flexible onboarding options that reduce the financial burden of running parallel environments during migration, helping partners transition without incurring dual-platform costs.

Highlighting regional momentum, Shaista Ahmed, Director, Channel & OEM Sales, Middle East & Africa at Nutanix, emphasized that enhanced multitenancy and partner programs will empower providers to deliver scalable, secure services while supporting customers’ hybrid multicloud journeys.

With growing demand for flexible cloud operating models and increasing disruption in the virtualization landscape, Nutanix’s latest initiatives position it as a strong alternative for service providers seeking greater control, scalability, and long-term platform independence.
