Kodak Alaris Unveils Next-Gen S5000 Series Scanners to Accelerate Digital Transformation in the Middle East

High-speed scanning, tri-stream image processing, and Capture Pro 7.0 software empower BFSI, healthcare, and public sector organisations to boost customer impact and data accuracy

Kodak Alaris has announced the launch of its next-generation KODAK S5000 Series production scanners along with the upgraded KODAK Capture Pro 7.0 software, purpose-built to address the high-volume, high-accuracy digitisation needs of key industries across the Middle East — including banking, insurance, healthcare, and government.

Designed to deliver exceptional speed and automation, the S5000 Series boasts scanning capabilities of up to 210 sheets per minute and a 32-core image processor. Combined with the intelligent Dynamic Flow Technology, these scanners efficiently manage complex, mixed-batch workloads — ensuring performance doesn’t drop even when three image outputs are generated per page.

“By automating tedious manual steps and ensuring reliable, high-quality output, Kodak Alaris empowers organisations to focus on delivering better outcomes.”

— Naji Kazak, VP EMEIA & APAC, Kodak Alaris

“Businesses in the region are under mounting pressure to digitise documents swiftly and accurately,” said Naji Kazak, VP EMEIA & APAC, Kodak Alaris. “Whether it’s insurance claims, patient records, or financial documentation, our technology ensures that no data is lost and that customer interactions are seamless and compliant.”

A key innovation is the scanners’ tri-stream image processing, enabling organisations to capture compliant archival copiesworkflow-optimised files, and colour-enhanced versions — all in one scan. This reduces turnaround times significantly, especially for industries like insurance and finance, where quick, accurate document access can make or break customer trust.

The S5000 Series also includes intelligent document protection features such as ultrasonic double-feed detectionmetal and crease sensors, and automatic slowdown — ensuring delicate or irregular documents are processed without damage. An intuitive touchscreen interface and real-time consumables monitoring further streamline operations and reduce workflow disruption.

The accompanying KODAK Capture Pro 7.0 features a fully 64-bit architecture and a modern tile-based UI designed for scalability in large enterprise environments.

The series includes three models: S5160 (160 ppm)S5180 (180 ppm), and S5210 (210 ppm). All models will be available across the Middle East from August 2025.

By helping enterprises digitise smarter and faster, Kodak Alaris continues to position itself as a strategic enabler of digital transformation and customer-centric operations across the region.
