KERNO Opens the UAE’s First Enterprise-Class Technology Manufacturing Facility to Partners and Media

KERNO

Kerno Enterprises, the UAE’s first enterprise‑level IT hardware manufacturer, hosted an exclusive tour of its upcoming high‑tech manufacturing facility in Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) on February 10. Partners, customers, and media were invited to experience the complete lifecycle of enterprise‑grade IT and microelectronics production now taking shape on UAE soil—marking a major milestone for the nation’s advanced technology manufacturing ambitions.

The event showcased Kerno’s enterprise‑grade IT and microelectronics manufacturing capabilities, including its role in reducing lead times, localizing intellectual property, and enabling secure, enterprise‑class infrastructure production within the UAE. These capabilities, previously unavailable at scale in the region, position Kerno as a critical contributor to the country’s technological sovereignty and digital resilience.

Guests were guided through the full production workflow alongside Kerno’s engineering and R&D teams. The tour spanned Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through‑Hole Technology (THT) lines, server and UPS rooms, testing and solution customization zones, assembly units, quality assurance stages, and the outbound logistics dock.

“This facility proves that enterprise‑grade technology manufacturing can be designed, built, and scaled in the UAE — to global standards and for mission‑critical use,” said Chris Caswell, CEO and Co‑Founder of Kerno. “This tour reflects the local capabilities we have built, from R&D and engineering to full‑cycle technology manufacturing in the UAE.”

“Kerno’s mission extends beyond localization,” added Evgeny (Gene) Ostrovskiy, Co‑Founder and Chief Revenue Officer. “By contributing to the UAE’s technological sovereignty, we are building long‑term commercial and technology partnerships with global leaders — creating the foundation for a sustainable, multi‑billion‑dollar advanced manufacturing industry.”

Kerno’s new DSO facility is designed to produce over 60,000 enterprise systems annually from its first year, with significant scalability potential. It integrates SMT lines, automated assembly, ISO 7 cleanroom environments, advanced process monitoring, precision component placement up to 15 micrometers, and high‑speed optical and X‑ray inspection systems capable of processing up to 180,000 microelectronic components per hour.

The company’s operations are powered by UAE‑based R&D teams, local IP ownership, dedicated engineering resources, a globally diversified supply chain, and local customer support—enabling faster delivery cycles while meeting enterprise and data‑center‑grade performance standards.

Kerno’s product ecosystem includes enterprise‑grade AI servers for training and inference, powered by the latest GPUs from global semiconductor leaders, alongside universal x86 servers, storage platforms, and analytics systems designed for mission‑critical environments.

The event marks the formal introduction of Kerno’s enterprise technology manufacturing operations, reinforcing the UAE’s strategic investments in digital infrastructure, industrial innovation, and advanced local production capabilities.
