Company showcases user-centric technologies addressing converging physical and cyber security risks

HID, a global leader in trusted identity solutions, is presenting its unified and cyber-secure portfolio at Intersec Dubai 2026, demonstrating how organisations across the Middle East can address evolving physical and digital security challenges through a single, user-centric identity framework.

The region continues to see strong momentum in security investments, driven by large-scale infrastructure projects, rapid digital transformation and a rising cyber threat landscape. Against this backdrop, HID is highlighting how trusted identity has become a foundational layer for modern security strategies—enabling stronger protection while improving usability and operational efficiency.

“The UAE and the wider GCC are at the forefront of adopting next-generation security technologies,” said Gustavo Gassmann, Vice President of Emerging Markets for Physical Access Control at HID. “At Intersec, we are demonstrating how a unified approach to trusted identity can help organisations strengthen security, improve resilience and deliver seamless user experiences, while aligning with national digital and cybersecurity ambitions.”

At its Intersec stand, HID is showcasing solutions spanning advanced access control, biometrics, mobile credentials and passwordless authentication. Highlights include HID Amico biometric facial recognition readers, demonstrated through a live speed-gate setup that shows how contactless authentication can deliver both high security and frictionless access in high-traffic environments.

HID is also emphasising its mobile-first strategy, with HID Mobile Access integrated with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, turning smartphones into secure, intuitive credentials. This approach supports organisations looking to modernise their security infrastructure while enabling more connected and efficient user experiences.

Supporting this ecosystem are Mercury Intelligent Controllers and HID Aero Controllers, which provide a cyber-hardened foundation with secure boot and advanced protections against digital threats. Also on display are HID Signo readers, offering multi-technology support and a future-ready upgrade path, and HID OMNIKEY desktop readers, enabling strong identity verification across smart cards and digital credentials.

HID’s presence at Intersec Dubai 2026 reinforces its role in helping governments and enterprises across the Gulf modernise their security posture. With a focus on interoperability, scalability and cyber resilience, the company continues to support the region’s transition toward safer, digital-first environments.
